The brief
Develop a custom web application and interactive widget for Social-Hyped, a platform offering social media promotion services.
The client needed a solution that would allow customers to order services such as likes, comments and followers directly through their website.
The main challenge was to connect the ordering process with an external service responsible for fulfilling promotion requests, while keeping the experience simple and intuitive for customers.
The platform also needed to analyse social media accounts, automate order processing and provide an administrative interface for managing widget settings and tracking orders.
What we did
Developed a Node.js web application to handle service requests, analyse social media account activity and communicate with an external service through its API.
We also created a custom Vue.js widget based on the client’s design and integrated it directly into the existing WordPress website. The widget provides an interactive interface for customers to configure and order social media promotion services.
To support the purchasing process, we extended WooCommerce with a custom checkout form, allowing customers to select additional services and complete their orders online.
Once a payment is successfully processed, the web application automatically sends the order details to the external service responsible for fulfilling the request.
We also developed a WordPress administrative interface for managing widget settings and used WooCommerce functionality for order tracking and statistics.
The result combines a custom Node.js backend, a Vue.js frontend widget, WordPress administration and WooCommerce e-commerce functionality into a single integrated solution.
Why it mattered
Connecting an online ordering system with an external service can introduce unnecessary manual work and complexity, particularly when multiple platforms need to exchange information.
The custom solution automates the process from order placement and payment to transferring requests for fulfilment.
For customers, this creates a more convenient purchasing experience, allowing them to configure and order services directly through the website.
For the business, the integration reduces manual order handling and provides a centralised way to manage widget settings, monitor orders and access statistics through the familiar WordPress environment.
By separating the custom application from the website while connecting them through integrations, the solution combines flexible backend functionality with the existing e-commerce infrastructure.
The result is an integrated platform that brings together social media promotion services, automated order processing and customer-facing functionality.
